York Land Trust to Host BBQ Dinner to Support Conservation Efforts

York Land Trust  is pleased to announce its annual BBQ fundraiser dinner to support the organization’s mission of protecting and caring for natural lands and waterways in the greater York area for the benefit of the community and the environment. The event will take place at York Land Trust on Sunday, September 8, 2024, at 4:00 PM, and will include a raw bar by Row 34, a hearty BBQ Menu by Foster’s Clambakes, live music from A Herd of Turtles, and a silent auction featuring seasonal experiences. 

 “The BBQ Fundraiser Dinner is a cornerstone of our commitment to preserving York’s natural beauty. This event not only unites our community but also drives our mission to protect the ecological values that define our region,” said Jared Chase, President of York Land Trust. “We warmly invite everyone to join us on September 8th for a memorable evening of camaraderie, delicious food, and the opportunity to support our essential conservation efforts.”

 This BBQ is York Land Trust’s largest fundraiser aimed at sustaining the organization’s conservation and stewardship work, in addition to enabling the organization to provide 75 free nature-based programs and events each year for community members of all ages to enjoy.
