Join Maine Master Naturalist, Sally Harold, to explore Smelt Brook Preserve on Saturday, November 11th from 10:00 to 11:30am. Learn about our local watershed and the York River’s newly designated status as a Partnership Wild and Scenic River.
Sally Harold grew up around the shoreline saltmarshes of Connecticut where her family enjoyed the great outdoors. Before moving to Kittery Point in late 2019, Sally worked for 18 years with The Nature Conservancy where she managed dam removal, fishway and river restoration projects. She was recently appointed as one of Kittery’s two representatives to the York River Partnership Wild and Scenic Stewardship Committee. She continues to work on river restoration projects as an independent consultant.
