Painting and Drawing Nature in Spring: Emergence

After a long winter, we eagerly look to the fields and woods for those first sprouts of spring and a feeling of renewal. Join local artist and naturalist Allison Donohue in painting and drawing some of these signs of spring. We’ll look at early wildflowers, ferns, budding leaves and a few other finds, and practice basic techniques for capturing them in watercolor and pencils. This workshop is appropriate for all ages and abilities. All materials will be provided, though you are welcome to bring your own if you prefer.
