Meet Your Naturalist Guides
Mary Harding is a graduate of Brown University and has lived in the town of York since 1975. She recently retired from the George Marshall Store Gallery where she curated contemporary art exhibitions for 25 years. Although she is still passionate about art, her goal in retirement is to spend as much time as possible out of doors. To increase her knowledge and awareness of the natural world she enrolled and became a graduate of the 2022 class of the Maine Master Naturalist Program. The year-long program covered many topics however it was the study of lichen and mosses that captured her imagination. She looks forward to sharing her enthusiasm for this beautiful miniature world which is so often overlooked and under appreciated.
Sally Harold is a Maine Master Naturalist living in Kittery Point.  Before moving to Maine, in early 2020, she spent 18 years as Director of River Restoration and Fish Passage for the Connecticut Chapter of The Nature Conservancy.  She is happiest outside and enjoys sharing her curiosity about  and knowledge of our natural world.
