York Land Trust Stewardship Staff will be leading a manual Stilt grass removal effort, leaving volunteers with the skills to identify, report and remove invasive Stilt grass. There are currently only 5 sites in Maine infested with Stilt grass. This activity will both reduce the population of Stilt grass on the Wander Hill area and build recognition of this fast-spreading plant.
Please bring water, mud shoes, work gloves, and insect repellant.
Everyone will meet at the York Land Trust headquarters and carpool to the property.
