Join us for an “Intro to Foraging” tour, held at Highland Farm Preserve. This guided excursion is an exceptional opportunity to delve into the world of wild edibles, exploring the rich diversity of plants and fungi that thrive in our local environment.
Our Partner, Center for Wildlife, will lead you through the lush landscapes of our preserve, sharing insights into sustainable and responsible foraging practices. Discover how to identify and harvest wild foods while minimizing your impact on the ecosystem. We’ll delve into indigenous wisdom and traditional practices, honoring the deep connection that local cultures have with the land.
