Hiking With Kids Workshop & Trail Walk

Join local author and former ecologist Sarah Lamagna for a fun morning all about hiking with kids! The session will start with a DIY trail mix bar, where families can put together the perfect trail mix combo before sitting down for a short presentation when Sarah will discuss all the tips and tricks when hiking with kids, plus provide some goodies for all that attend. Then we will head outside to enjoy a walk led by Sarah on Near Point Trail. This preserve includes the headquarters of York Land Trust and a 3/4-mile loop trail through meadows and forest along Smelt Brook, with scenic views of expansive marshlands and a pond. This program is free and open to the public. Please register here.

(Please note the trail mix will be peanut and tree nut-free)
