Garden Series: Organic Gardening 101

Join us for an informative presentation by two of Eldredge Lumber’s organic gardening experts, Susan Engel, a Maine Master Gardener Volunteer, and John Bochert, Eldredge’s Lawn & Garden Specialist. They will discuss gardening techniques for planting, maintaining, and harvesting organic gardens that support local plant and animal habitat. There is a vast array of microorganisms that play a critical role in healthy soil, and organic gardening creates a safer, healthier, more resilient, and even less costly landscape. All of Eldredge’s gardening products are organic and there will be a sampling of these items on display plus a tour of our organic garden!

This program is free and open to the public with registration. Sign up here.
