2025 Climate Series: How to Speak Bird

Join Dan Gardoqui (aka “the bird whisperer”) for an engaging talk you won’t soon forget! Did you know that humans are often the only species not paying attention to a universal language shared among our wildlife? What would it be like if you could decipher that language? Learn helpful tips for slowing down and tuning into the language of birds; advanced observation techniques you can use in town or in the woods; and shortcuts for finding exciting birds like owls and falcons!  Finally, Dan will help us understand how we can foster deeper, reciprocal relationships with nearby wildlife. Dan will also address the impact of climate change on the local bird population, especially coastal birds.
