Please join Maine Master Naturalist Sally Harold for a winter walk at Near Point Preserve at the York Land Trust’s headquarters. Sally will give a short indoor presentation on winter tree identification followed by a walk in the preserve to identify trees. Come prepared to walk in what could be winter conditions! If you have a small magnifying lens, bring it along.
Sally grew up hiking the woods of Connecticut and Vermont with her nature-loving family and continued to enjoy the outdoors throughout her career with The Nature Conservancy in Connecticut. Sally moved to Maine in 2019 and graduated from the Maine Master Naturalist Program in 2022.
