Come join York Land Trust Stewardship Staff to help build bridging structures on YLT’s Smelt Brook Preserve and make our trails more accessible! All experience levels are welcome. All tools will be provided at the workday, but if you have any favorite tools for digging, cutting roots, power tools or trimming back brush – we encourage you to bring them along! Please come prepared with work gloves, long sleeves and pants, appropriate footwear for muddy conditions and bug spray, water and snacks. This event is free and open to the public with registration. Love Maine Trails Month (LMTM) is a month of statewide events bringing people and organizations together to care for Maine’s trails. LMTM brings visibility to the substantial resources and effort required to maintain Maine’s beloved trails!
