Ogunquit River Trail Network Now Open

May 10, 2017

On Saturday, May 6, we celebrated the opening of a new trail network that encompasses six trails spanning roughly 3.5 miles — an effort made possible through collaboration with Great Works Regional Land Trust and the Hilton-Winn Farm in Cape Neddick.

The new Ogunquit River Trail Network threads through YLT’s Hilton-Winn Preserve, Great Works Regional Land Trust’s Kimball Farm North Preserve in South Berwick, and trails on Hilton-Winn Farm. The connected properties contain a variety of habitats to explore including open field, upland forest, wetlands, and the riparian corridors along the Tatnic River and Ogunquit River.

We are so pleased with the great team effort that made this project possible, and look forward to seeing you out on the trails!
